Peach Pie Mug Cake

This peach pie mug cake is perfect when you want dessert for one. Utilize fresh summer peaches for natural sweetness with this dessert. Pro tip: don’t skip the toppings! 

I tweaked the recipe a few times to find a version that was sweet and delicious, without giving me a sugar rush or headache. I found that the sugar from the peaches, combined with honey and cinnamon, to be the right amount of sweetness. 

Because once you add the ice cream topper, it’s plenty sweet and delicious!

Peach Pie Mug Cake 


  • ½ peach, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon honey 
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt 
  • 1 tablespoon oat flour 
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour (or gluten free all purpose flour) 
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder 
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil 
  • 1 tablespoon of milk (oat, almond, or regular will work)
  • Optional toppings: pecans, vanilla ice cream, granola, or peanut butter drizzle 


  1. In a microwave safe mug, combine ingredients in order listed. Stir to combine. 
  2. Heat for 1 minute and 30 seconds in the microwave, until cake forms. 
  3. Add your desired toppings and enjoy immediately. 


For a sweeter cake, add more honey or even brown sugar. If you don’t have oat flour, omit and use 3 tablespoons of all purpose flour instead.
