You can find me enjoying this Everglow Green Smoothie all year round. It’s packed with healthy fats, fruits, and veggies. Lately, this has been my go-to smoothie after a workout because it’s replenishing and delicious.
The recipe yields 2 servings, which is perfect if you want to treat your roomie or partner to a smoothie. Or save the second serving in a sealed glass jar in the fridge overnight or in the freezer for up to 1 week. Blend once, enjoy twice!
Although this smoothie is green in color, I promise it tastes delicious. The lime and lemon give it a subtle zest, while the banana and date keep it sweet. Blend and enjoy!
Everglow Green Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
Serves 2
- 1 banana
- 1 date
- 3 cups spinach
- ½ avocado
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 2 tablespoons plain greek yogurt*
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2-3 cups milk of choice*
- Juice of ½ lime
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ cup ice
*To make dairy-free, omit the yogurt and add ¼ cup cashews.
*I used the Original Silk Protein milk, which is a blend of cashew and almond. It tasted delicious in this combo and contains 10g protein per serving.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Start with 2 cups of milk and blend to desired consistency. Add additional liquid as needed. I prefer this recipe with 2 ½ cups liquid, which yields 2 servings.
